GPS for car
Hello thinking of buying a gps after getting lost going to Chens yesterday,anyone got an opinion as to which is the best one to buy,regards Ray.

I live about 5 minutes from there, you could have come round for a cuppa!
I don't drive but my brother does a lot and has a GPS. I'll ask him what he's got and report back

I bought a pair of chequerboard pigeonbloods,if you look on chensdiscus.co.uk they are still pictured on the breding pairs section,Franicis's price are really good starting around 10 quid and the guy gave me 10% discount as a returning customer.I will take some pics after they have settled and are feeding properly,lovely fish though.

I use a map, pen, paper and a wife. sems to work.
recently had a lorry driver stop me and ask for diredctions, his sat nav refused to show him the correct road, smack opposite where he'd stopped!

also sick of getting lost so i bought rac200 from pcworld £80 seems to work fine brother inlaw has same model without problems

I use the Tom Tom Go, its about 3yrs old now, used it without bother when i had my carpentry business, got me to customers houses without any trouble. The only down side with it is you cant download updated road layouts, so on occasion it can direct you the wrong way if the maps are not upto date.
I dont leave home without it now tho. But I know there are better ones on the market, take a look at the "Gadget show" website or "Which" website for the different specs of all the others on the market.

being an old git ray ,I have got the old type satellite system its called the mrs, lol complete and utter waste of time, could not find her way to the end of a straight road without getting lost, once or twice, so best of luck with your fancy one
