Default merging photos?

Ok experts

what program can i use to cut and paste from one photo onto another?

im struggling to cut out a Hat from one and past onto another photo.....and no its not a dunce cap!hehe!
Im using windows Vista.

ok rob im not very technical but..


i run regular windows xp and i can do that stuff on the standard paint package

I am using Paint Shop Pro V7

Easy and includes an animator programme.

Adobe Photoshop is pretty widely used for that sort of thing & many others.

Bare in mind though that its a pretty comprehensive photo manipulation Proggy so if your only gonna do this job occasionally then its no worth installing a great big lump like that.

If however messing with photo's is something you do regularly or soething you might get into then this is your proggy.

Its very expensive, but if you know where to look you can get for free.

Another thing with photoshop is that it has so many different things you can do, which is confusing and also wastes hours of your life editing photos.
