Default taking clips on digital camera

The max i can get is 30 seconds before the memory on the camera runs out.

You guy's seems to have clips 2-3 minutes long! How do you do that.

I can't afford a memory card for my camera so don't want to go that route.

I can't find the instructions right now, but i know i have them.

This is the camera i got

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-Ixus-i...ef=pd_sbs_ce_2

any suggestions appreciated

This link gives the technical specifications
