Default Clownloachlady's

Hi

Its been a long time since ive been on this and wow it looks great!!! love the new look.

If you cant remember me, or dont want too! im the Botia Macracanthus fanatic. I have been keeping tropical fish since 2001. Ive moved around for the last couple of months but now back in Devon.

My tank is a Trigon 190, with a good number of clown loaches, orange finned loaches, Yo-Yo and a few other loaches. As my loaches are such good hiders ive got a few giant diano's and rosy barbs to make it look like if got something in my tank other than plants. Ive recently bought two Hydor "aqua color" lights (Blue and green), to encourage my loaches to come out, but still the only time i see them is when they want food!!!

Anyone with questions about clownloaches i would be more than happy to help!

PS i read somewhere that some fellow in PFK last year claimed he had photos of the clowns fry??? mmmm... ye right!!!

Some photos to follow...

The conficts have been in the tank for a few years now and every now and then they have babies. Besides the time when there is babies in the tank the loaches and convicts are getting on very very well. The tank is big enough with enough hiding spaces to allow each their own individual space.

Ah lovely CL's!

I recently bout a gang of these fella's but mine are tiny.... All under 2"...

Same as you, I rarely see my guys except when they want their dinner!

What other fish can live with CL's other then danios and barbs?

I'm looking to add another species to my tank as sometimes the top 3/4 of the tank looks very static..
