-water change routine
-filtration
-do you check for nitrite/nitrate levels?

clean gravel weekly takes third of water out.put fresh in. check nitrate regulary not had any problems no problems with ammonia either must be doing something right. clean filter monthly outside filter.or if it looks really dirty. as you no goldfish really mucky.x

bet you have to keep a eye on the temp in summer or do thay do ok in warmer water as well
