Thanks everyone for your compliements on our pond, we still have a bit to do to finish it.(Did I say finish? we all know that never happens).
In answer to your question Robert concerning the clarity of water, at this time we are running a 16000ltr Luguna pump feeding an Easy pod via a 25w u/v,
A 2000ltr Luguna pump with an old box filter. These are being replaced in the near future for a 7000ltr pump and an aereated retro bottom drain feeding into a double vortex then into the easy pod. Which hopefully will get it cleaner still.
We also fitted an Aquosis SK1 skimmer which is run by an external 6000ltr Aquamax pump. We've found that the Aquosis skimmer has performed briliantly.
