Your Favourite Picture Thread

I thought it might be nice to have a thread where you can post all of your favourite ever fish / tank picture's that you have taken for a bit of nostalgia!

If you want to write some kind of comment like i have about certain pictures that would be great, or just post them as they are.

I just been having a look through all mine on photo-bucket and these are my absolute fave's (14 of them)

I'll start with the Malawi's / Tanginyikan's

My Metriaclima Greshakei (male). Changes colour from a blue body with bright orange fins to a more bright white with bright orange fins during breeding.

Metriaclima Callainos (Albino, sex unknown)



Pseudotropheus sp. "Acei" (Ngara), likely about 2-weeks old since being spat out by mum



Arguing Neolamprologus Tretocephalus (i.e. not Frontosa!), sex unknown not the best picture quality but makes my fave list anyway

Next up is the mighty Blood Parrots! The two close up one's are of my biggest Parrot who's about 7"

finally some odds and sods


arguing Bolivian Rams(sex unknown), bit blurred. Two of them in my community tank, don't trouble other fish but can stand the sight of each other usually staying at opposite end sof the tank



Community planted tank, taken over 6-months ago, not quite as "neat and tidy" at the moment and due for a big re-organise, plants are still doing well though.



Jellybean/Convict fry taken recently, i wish the plastic was a bit cleaner now! Basically born from a traditional female blue/black convict and a male albino jellybean (aka short-bodied convict), growing them on the see what the fry are going to be like, will keep them, just not sure which set-up yet



Rope Fish, also known as Reed Fish i have a group of 6 of these



Senegal Bichir, i moved this group of fish on unfortunately, i do miss them, but there was some compatability issues with the way i wanted to take my set-up forward (the new 5x2x2).



Convicts! Taken well over a year ago, how i miss them. I had a few pairs partitioned off in a tank, part of breeding project trying to get marbled fry. But i just loved their behaviour. The picture shows a male albino staring through the plastic to another breeding pair. The other fish in the picture is a female. I don't have these fish anymore

LOL, if its a certain size (very small) you can upload it directly, do your post and then go to "manage attachments" below
