WOW, the first one is weird looking, looks see thro? And I too like the ones with "eyes" on their wings, cracking pics

Thanks Sash, if I'm correct in my understanding, none are native to Britain. I think most, if not all were from Central/South America. It was very hot and humid in the Butterfly house, so defo none British there!

Using Fujfinepix s1000fd, no special setting other than occasional macro 
Yup, 'The owl' butterflies are very cool, they use the 'eye' to scare off potential predators.

Thanks Curvi, yep the first one is called Glasswing, and is see-through. Very cool indeed.
