lovely looking lad! and dont put him in too big a viv! thats when stress can kick in with royals and will show in feeding problems...IMO a 3x2 viv is plenty big enough for a royal its whole life!...

thanks for the advice i will keep him in there. what if i put 2 together why do people prefer not to keep them together, is it cos of the feeding side of things? i have heard a few reasons now but would like tohear what you think?

its basicaly for diseases and parasites etc....snakes have a no. of diseases that may not show themselves for a VERY long time...also by nature snakes are solitary creatures and live alone naturaly apart from breeding season, just the stress of living in close quarters with other snakes day to day can stress them out...also it is much easier to monitor who has eaten, who is in shed who has poo`d etc etc...also although rare in most snakes...cannibalism can and has happened also!...it is at the end of the day the individual keepers choice, but personaly i prefer to keep them solitary except for breeding
