Default Dividing a tank...

I'm thinking about dividing my tank into sections. Has anyone got any ideas or info regarding dividing a tank into doing this?

I don't want anything permanent so no glass type ideas.

Also needs to be something water can run through.

Cheaper the better.

Cheers

Pete

bit of spare perspex, left over from your hood project, drill some holes through it, so the water goes through it, couple of rubber suction cups to keep it in place

you know the fine mesh wrapper oranges and onions come in.

depending on size knit a couple of them together with your fishing line

tie some rubber suction cups on for the sides

put the base under the gravel

you could also hold it on there with some old algae cleaner magnets ( if you had any ?

What about the mesh used for fly screens, in plastic or metal, possibly available from a builders merchant
There are also fine mesh nets available fron garden centres used for keeping insects off crops, if these may be suitable

dunno bout anyone else, but i wouldnt fancy putting an onion bag in my tank, aint they bright orange?also theyre not very strong and itll be a bugger to get taught enough to be of any use...check out egg crate on ebay, much better for the job in my humble opinion
