I am having a problem with an Eheim 2329 Wet/Dry filter.

The wet/dry floater that runs up the outside of the filter for normal working has to fill right up. The problem I am having is it fills all the way up except for the last inch just before the hole into the pump head.

It has been working now for a week with no problems, it is at the right height and the pipes are of equal length with no kinks in them, oh and the breather is at the right height un-obstructed...

Also when the filter is in action both the main tank and the floater that runs up the side of the filter both bodies water level reduce and go down. But the flow of water seems to continue???
