Default Help with new Eheim

Hey, used to be a regular on the old forum, didn't realise there was a new one! anyways i need your help with setting up a classic eheim, i have read the instructions but it doesn't mention anywhere about these double tap bits, anyone tell me where to put them? do i have to cut the hose and use these as a connector? any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you'll need to cut the hoses, put a bit of hose on the bottom of the Classic, and a bit on the top, add a tap to this, and the other half of each tap goes onto the hoses that go to the tank.

may i add that if you use a Male on the inlet to the filter that you use a Female on the return !
it makes it impossable to reconect the filter wrong after cleaning . hope this makes sense George

Yeah I've got an eco running myself, don't rate it as good as the Classics tho.
