can someone help me with these terms for plants
Propagation i am assuming this is reporduction

I do not know what these terms mean when it comes to plants(adventitous and rhizome)i am assuming they have something to do with reproduction, but i would like to know how to make new plants with the plants that i already have and i understand that most of them use these two forms of propagation from what i have read. I know that sounds a little confusing so if you have any questions please ask. Thanks

There are two types of growth. Vegetative propagation is when a plant grows a runner or a shoot and stems a new plant. The same when you take a cutting and re-plant. The other type is reproductive propagation by seed formation. The new plants are genetically different. Rhizome, is an aerial root that is not in the soil or substrate. It usually attaches to rocks or the substratum.
