Default Recommended Fishkeeping Equipment

As requested, here is a thread you can use to make recommendations on equipment you have used which you have found effective.

It would be beneficial to know which equipment options are out there and out of them which are the most reliable/effective.

eqj trading , for lights and tubes ,etc, excellent quality products, at hundreds of pounds cheaper than UK products of the same quality. you can bid on their products or you have the buy it now option.
either type into google or go to the top of this page press on aquariums and equipment ,scroll down looking on your right hand side until you come to aquarium lighting press scroll down until you come to upside down t5 -- or real light for about a couple of pounds press and you are on their site

tinah41, for air pumps -waterpumps-ozonisers- airline-power heads etc, she sells by auction so as long as you don't get carried away with your bidding, you can grab yourself some bargains ,( she is a bit high on postage and package but what I do is get several items over a couple of days ,then pay ) you only pay the highest postal charge and all the other items you purchase are then delivered free.

skyka3 5000and 7000 lph waterpumps. from the same factory that make aquamedic, (and in my opinionjust as good) 5000lph £27.50 inclusive of package and postage and the 7000lph £36.99inclusive of package and postage. ( type them into google)

I have dealt with all these sellers and find their products superb.
phyto plus---for photoplancton and dry and live foods and much more (well worth a look) delivered within 5 days

dailyebuy I bought my sump lights there £7.98 each (they supply adaptors free, but I always put a british plug and fuse in them)many more bargains there but look at thier p+p charges before you buy weigh up the total cost inclusive of p+p

aquah8 I bought my heaters there 300watt=£6.98 delivered --200watt--£6.49 delivered--100 watt--£5.98 delivered again they supply an adaptor (but I always put a british plug and fuse on them )many more bargains on this site
all have a pretty fast delivery on them (normally within 10 days which isn't bad for china)

just type them into google . safe as houses pay by paypal.
