Now now piranhamad, each to their own. Just because it might not be your cup of tea, you shouldn't knock it.

You'd be surprised how much show standard guppies are going for these days, they are exquisite!

IIRC you were hoping to get live food for piranhas?? There would be plenty of breeders with fish of no commercial value, possibly runts that would otherwise be either culled or passed on.

Why not contact some of the site organisers and see if they can put the feelers out for cheap guppies

there's some fantastic looking guppies strains around.

they can be a great addition to a peaceful community tank.

only thing that is shame is the males are always beautiful and the females so plain.
