Default Pfk

I have heard about some problems with PFK forum, apparently there is quite a debate about someone owning an illegal fish on there and as soon as someone mentioned it they got banned?

anyone from here on that forum?

EDIT: the person who mentioned it got banned LOL, not the person with the illegal fish LOL

i know this all sounds very vague i just wondered if anyone been on there recently?

I've only posted a couple of times on there.
I think the ban is ridiculous.! Its not like they were trying to sell the fish. What was the fish?
AC forum is still in its infancy <200 members, its up and coming. You wouldnt see such behaviour on AC, the ban that is.

I'd love to know what the fish is too, hopefully mentioning it on AC won't get me banned.

i am treading a fine line here, and to be honest had a couple of drinks last night and became a little "touchy" about something i read on another forum (TFF) about PFK

it's a little "gossipy" this thread i have done, but i thought i would indulge myself

someone whom i very much respect in terms of intregrity got virtually banned (i think they restricted his access) for bringing to someone's attention (on PFK) that a dude on the forum was in possession of an illegal fish and was posting pictures of this fish in their tank on the forum.

A moderator sent him a pm something a long the lines of "leave it alone" LOL, hush hush mum's the word LOL, the guy didnt leave it alone but "apparently" raised the issue in a fair and respectful manor that it wasnt a good idea to be boating about a fish that can result in something like a £5,000 fine for owning?

I am afraid every now and then i will have some beers and become "Lexter" and start getting involved in things i dont need to get involved in LOL

I was going to edit / delete this thread, but as peeps have already joined in, i guess it will stay!

Sorry Webby for this tabloid exclusive thread

maybe someone on this forum will be able to clarify this (hint hint) LOL

i guess its possible that the member who got annoyed about the "illegal" fish deserved his ban, i wasnt there / didnt read it at time.

But my point was that it's got one forum really going for PFK LOL, as it appeared there was some big cover up about this so called "illegal" fish.

It will be on News of the World tomorrow morning, front page, mark my words LOL (thats a joke btw)

There is a huge difference between owning a red list fish and talking about its biology, natural habitat etc. I can understand the ban after being warned. Forum rules should be adhered to.
Having said that, anything to promote conservation of a species should be praised.
It was illegal to introduce Nile perch into the African lakes. Now they have a conservation of the perch because its stocks have declined and the locals have little to eat.
