Default dwarf gourami

i have a 15 gallon tank and in it i have 4 widow tetras 2 otolinctus 1 neon 1 glowlight 4 harlequins and 1 male and 1 female dwarf gouramis.my dwarf gouramis seemed to be in love always near each other and touching each other but then my male gourami built a bubble nest in the corner that has the least current but every time the male tries to get the female near he just seems to chase her around the tank. how can i get them to breed thanks

Daniel

this sounds like behaviour after spawning, most male gouramis will not tolerate females in the tank once they've spawned...check the nest for eggs or fry

in that case its a waiting n a hoping game...waiting for the female to become ready for spawning, hoping the male doesnt kill her before shes ready...

Hope you have plenty of cover for the female, because the males can be real hard on the females.
