can i feed them fishfood from shops? like packed crabs and shrimp in brine?

hello dom, yes you can mate, but wouldnt it be cheaper to buy it from supermarket? i used to feed the mbu on tesco seafood mix, it has shrimp squid, mussel in it but make sure you feed ****les or similar in the shell to keep the beak trimmed down
