Default Hows this for a bargain

I was just having a quick look through the local classifieds and spotted an eheim aquairium for sale for £100.

I thought it might have been one of the small eheim kiddy tank but oh no it was the eheim kristall hexagonal tank with all eheim equipment so I bagged myself quite a bargain.

£100 for the aquarium (150 litre), the light, the eheim pro filter 2222 and the jagar heater plus filter media.

The tank is only 2 years old well chuffed can't find a UK price but this set up in Europe will set you back 720 Euros!

I have transfered the contents of a little 10 gallon corner tank in to it so it is just going to be a community tank nothing to fancy.

Current stock is:

4 Gelius barbs
8 cherry barbs
5 pink khouli loaches (can't find them in any book generally can't find them at all)
1 panda cory
1 ottocinclus
5 sumo loaches (best loaches I have ever found)
1 African filter shrimp
1 female kribensis.

I will possibly be adding all or some of the following:

4 Gelius barbs
7 panda cory's
3 ottocinclus
3 sumo loaches
2 African filter shrimps
8 marbled hatchet fish
2 Sturiosoma panamense
4-8 Tatia perugiae (may have a go at breeding them)

I will probably add a UV sterilizer to it too.

Decor is bog wood and Java fern plus a ceramic pipe thing (not in there for aesthetics) and a couple of ceramic pots (again not in there for aesthetics) both are used by the krib shrimp and loaches.

Substrate is sand.

I transfered the filter from the 10 gallon tank straight in so its basically up and running from day one I just need to wait a month or so for the canister to take on the bulk of the biological action before I can add any more fish.

Its funny how my taste in fish has changed I started with community tanks got bored and went for oddballs now I'm back to community tanks with the occasional oddity.

I will post some pickies tonight.

The tank is just about big enough for a pair of sea horses if they were as cheap to keep as trops I would have given them ago but it is expensive enough running a reef tank with out adding a seahorse tank to the list!!!!!!
