Default Keeping mono's...


Has anybody ever kept a mono?

I read they are freshwater AND marine fish?

Surely they can't be both? They must be separate species for each type of water right?

Anybody ever kept any of these fella's?

yeah i seen there well pricey.

i'm just baffled how they can be freshwater and saltwater both

it thought that was impossible.

i'm no expert but i'm guessing theres some places in the world where saltwater meets freshwater and obviously some fish must live in these conditions

is the mono a product of this sort of thing?

the young frequent estuarys brackish water ( fresh and saltwater mixed ) but the older ones are true marine and thrive in full strength sea water

That really is very interesting.

I'd have guessed the waters obviously meet somewhere, but never though about the fish "caught in the middle"
