no dont clean it just someone said if the tank is cloudy take the rock out and house it in another tank and add it a piece at a time so i did that and when i took it out the water was perfectly clear but once the rock started going back in the tank went cloudy again so im very mythed by the whole thing

I personally dont think ocean rock is worth tank space ,if I was you i would take it out and put it in your other tank ,leave the live rock in there and see what happens then , if the water does then come clear ,and you want to put the ocean rock back in give it a good scrub and rinse , .what tank are you putting the rock in when you take it out of your cloudy tank ie is it a fully functioning salt water tank? is it heated ?and does it make that tank cloudy?
also how long have you had this rock?.
