right, ill start then, ive been into marine for bout a year now so still a newbie really, i started off with an "orcatl450! not a bad little tank really, this was kindly donated to me by ED,but as with all things fishy it soon became toooooo small so i upgraded to the rio 125,slowly i got all the bits n bobs i needed with a little help from kev, wayne, ed + lfs...as you can see in pic ive got a few soft corals inc xenia, sarco, mushies, polyps, i have a cuc consisting of about 6 hermits+a doz or so different snails, theres also a couple of brittle stars in there, fish wise i have a pair of maroon clowns hosting a bta, cleaner wrasse, jade wrasse, algae blenny, lizard blenny[lfs title],spotted pyjama cardinal... filtration is live rock backed up with a fluval 405 filled with alfagrog + live rock rubble+ phos bag+ no2/no3 bag,i have a v2 600 skimmer with bubble stop, a 1300lph powerhead with 2 outlets aimed at diff areas in the tank, the whole thing is lit by x3 24w t5 lights = 2white 1blue attinic, also have moon light led...id like to add a sump at some time but am limited due to the shape/size of cabinet so i can put all the bits n bobs in it + free up some more space in the tank...i also have a 35litre nano with a pair of unknown clowns given to me again by ed[what a man]with a small cuc, live rock etc...i really do enjoy marines, more so than freshwater trops due to the diversity of life you come across from time to time even though you didnt actually add it yaself ! i find it very expensive though, and a lot lot harder than trops what with the constant water parameter checks etc but hey ho it keeps me outta jail...
