hello, any one used ,magnavore,pura phoslock from t m labs?.

can answer this one myself now, lol.used pura phoslock in my tank for about 4 weeks , RESULTS so far phosphate down from 50 to 10 in new tank and 30 to 3 in my reef tank , so I think thats a thumbs up from me so far .

ok thats it grandad i'm getting my camouflage gear on and im gonna come and stalk you like prey

seriously though im gonna buy some of that stuff 100%, just looking for a good (but cheap) filter sock to use with it

I use tights (no jokes thank you they are not mine) a pair of tights can be used to make 6-8 bags depending on how much media you need to use.

Ah Alan! I tried to use tights but when I washed them they seemed to leak some colours.

Seems like a good idea though, guess they;d have to be tights with no dye in them? Which I've found hard to locate

well you will have one free with the pura, extra ones are £2.80 each +p+p.if you dont want to pay that do what alan says and use tights, put them in a saucepan of water and boil them, then give them a good rinse, you should not get any leaching then, but even if you did it would be minimal and harmless .
