Question skimmers help

Hi have just set up a new 4x2x2 aqua one tank with a 36x18x15 sump which came witha via aqua skimmer . i what size and type skimmer would be best as tank is in living room and misses complains about the noise will have deep sandbed in sump
tank has 50 kilos live rock .afew soft corals and 6 fish +clean up crew

with the two tanks and allowing for the live rock you are probably talking about 120 gallons so I would think a v2 600 --up to 130 gallons or 800--up to 180 UK gallons would be fine for you ,pumps a bit bulky but you wont see it in the sump, alternatively you could go for the aqua medic 1000 turboflotor multi--125to 250 uk gallons all very good skimmers at a reasonable prices alternatively you can go for the big names - big price to match ( don't know your finances lol.) I have used both these brands and find them excellent .

a good second hand deltec ap600/apf600 can be had for £120ish,750ltr and 1000ltr respectfully.hth mikk
