Default Water Quality

I am in the process of setting up my first Marine tank. Is it possible to store R.O. water in closed plastic containers?If so,how long can it be stored etc.?

hi johnboy,yes you can store RO, keep it in airtight jerrycan[food grade plastic]out of direct sunlight,when ready to use just add salt,heat + airrate for min 6 hrs[i do it for 24hrs]then its ready to use

hi hemps, i pay £1 a gallon for plain RO or £2 for salted...seems the going rate where i am

tell me bout it,im sposed to be getting a RO unit off a pal but hes not been in touch,ya can get em fairly cheap but you need a good water pressure which i havent so ive gotta get a pump on top another £60
