Default anyone got any idea`s

hi all - anybody know about severums as i have got a male roktiel severum and a female gold severum breeding but my question is what colour will the fry be - has anybody else bred with the same colour fish -

i `ve successfully bred blue severums - i`ve got roughly 300 growing on at this moment in time some are 1 inch to 2 and the others are only 3 weeks old

and last but not least does anybody know of any red spotted severums for sale as i`ve got a large gold female in top breeding condition nice and fat with eggs lol

The majority of them should be the same colour as the male, the gold gene is a recessive gene and in order for the fry to be gold, the male must also hold the gold gene within its DNA. If he doesn't hold the gold gene, then all the fry will be green. I used to have a male gold, and female green, and female must have carried the gold gene, had around a fifty fifty split in the colours.
