Default Cichlids

Are you into dwarf cichlids, or maybe tank busters, those 'full of character' amaerican cichlids? Lets hear about them in this area of the forum. From oscars to rams - lets hear about them.

cichlids are my fav freshwater trop,so many to choose from, over the years ive kept may types but never really got into afs prefer the usa myself, i find them alot easier to keep, at the mo i have a 6x2x2 with calico convicts, oscar, parrot,in with these are 7 4"-5" clown loach, not exciting to most cichlid keepers but i love em, so hardy, you'd have to nuke em! i also have 16 2"-3" tilapia mariea at the mo but these are going asap, so if anyones interested in buy or swops just pm me!

I like all cichlids! First kept americans: Bifasciatum, Synspillum, Salvini, Festae, Octofasciatus, Septemfasciatum, Rivulatus, Cyanoguttatus, Nics. Now just have a pair of Tetracanthus (Cubans).

Now more into Malawi and Tanganyikans. Have toooo many to list.

Unfortunatly there isn't really anyway of being able to tell if they are wild caught or not. Unless you got it from a shop that deals in Wild Caught fish or if its a particulary rare species, where the chances are they have to be caught from the wild, then theres no guranteeing.
