Default Project Mayhem

The new fry arrived today, Parachromis dovii & Nandopsis haitiensis.

All only about 10mm in length, but I can already see some interesting markings on the fry.

I'm going to update this thread as they develop and keep a kind of ongoing diary.

Here's how they look today (18th June 2008)

Here's where they live, but there hard enough to see with the eye let alone with a camera.

Will update in the near future.

Any pointers or info anyone wants to add please feel free.

Yeah this tank was setup to be for the Cory gang Tel.

But cos the fry came in smaller then expected, there going to live in here till they get to about 3cm.

Then they'll be moved to the tank that was meant for them, hopefully they'll be some plants left by then

Aye thats my breakfast bowl, gotta have fuel to burn Rob

That tank was all setup and ready for the Corys, but the fry being so small best having them in the smaller tank for a month or two. The cory project will happen though, just delayed a wee bit. As they have to hang about in the community tank a while.

You'll be surprised when you see what these fry turn into and how many teeth they'll have

Small fry came from a breeder up in Cambridge. He keeps some real crazy fish.
