Hi Guys,
I know its probably a really strange question but does anyone know how to increase algae growth in a tank or speed it up. Because I removed all the holey rock and replaced with fresh cobbles I now have no algae in my mbuna tank. At the moment i'm leaving the light on permanently but was wondering if anyone had any other ideas.
Also I was given this malawi by a mate as it was being harrased in his tank, its no problem in mine but can anyone spot the species - i'm thinking possibly an afra hybrid but it has the black fin of a yellow lab or socofoli ? sorry i can't seem to get a better photo !
its about 3.5 inches long white with black barring at head end with a very distinct black stripe through the upper fin.
