hi has anyone installed water solar heating in their tropical pond,if so is it any good or a waste of money

solar heating is in my opinion a wate of time you would be much better of installing an elecro heater as you can control them properly and they are reliable

thanks..i wont fit one ,but got a previous quote for £2495 which in terms it would of taken me 8 years to break even before i made any savings .thanks richard

I've just bought a profi heater 1kw for my 3000litre aquarium pond. I paid £128 fot it, they go up to 3kw. I have to maintain 24c temp to keep qscars happy. Weekly extra electric consumption is about £8.
