hi all just after some info on hole in head on discus not got it just been premtive how is it caused is it water quality/food or is it fugus thanks

i dont think anyone actuallt knows the cause for sure. im pretty certain of that much. a few theorys if come across (and bear in mind this on other forums so these people are probably guesing) is metals not present in water, bad water conditions or electrical leaks from heaters etc etc.

i would probably go with bad water cnditions personally as most cases ive come across seem to be with owners that are relaxed when it comes to water changes. if this is you and from what ive read about discus water quality is very important this COULD be the cause. but other than that im 90% sure theres no known definative cause
