can someone tell me what is better to use on a marine tank .ro unit or water purifier .i was looking about on the net and in the adverts and from what i can gather ro units waste a hell of a lot of water .

RO units do waste a hell of a lot of water but why not collect the waste water for the garden. Alsio if you add a pump to the RO system you will waste less water.

RO systems are cheaper in the long run than water purifiers I use a combination of both take a look at www.ro-man.com

You can reduce waste water by rigging up membranes in series to take a look at the 100 gpd unit upgrade on the website.
