I have a 15 litre cold water tank thats 18 months old with 5 fish. 2 danios, 2 barbs & algae eater. Just bought a 30 Litre tank (not sure how many gallons this is sorry) The tank is the same width, just twice as deep. As I want to use all the things in the old tank (apart from the gravel) can I just put everything into the new tank and then top it up a couple of inches each week until its full of water? Will this work? Any advise would be appreciated. Tanks alot!!

if uve got both tanks why not setup the water and let it mature in the new tank (aswell as letting the water settle wen u fill it up and stuff.
