i have 5 foot marine and just wondering if i need to keep my prizm skimmer going all day and night .because the noise is driving mad...cheers |

Ideally yes if the prizms doing your nut upgrade to something like a tunze 9105 classic should fit inside the hood takes up very little space in the tank due to its horizontal as opposed to vertical design and is very efficient. |

i have a prizm steve and i hate it as much as danny boy hates fluval externals i now have a deltec ap 800 sitting waiting to go. fish! do your nut in |

I have a prizm and have only been running it for 2 days and I'm already sick of it!! The noise is ok on mine but setting the bugger up without water waste FORGET IT!!! |

ok terry...still looking at some skimmers that deltek is a nice one but bit big as i have a lid on my tank and for the money the tunze seem s more like it .....the wifes not happy at all haveing to spend more moneys lol ...ive found the tunze for £180 so far...but still looking ...still got the prizm on just at night ..cant hear it then..but still lookin ..and thx alan and terry
