i have 5 foot marine and just wondering if i need to keep my prizm skimmer going all day and night .because the noise is driving mad...cheers

Ideally yes if the prizms doing your nut upgrade to something like a tunze 9105 classic should fit inside the hood takes up very little space in the tank due to its horizontal as opposed to vertical design and is very efficient.

i have a prizm steve and i hate it as much as danny boy hates fluval externals i now have a deltec ap 800 sitting waiting to go. fish! do your nut in

I have a prizm and have only been running it for 2 days and I'm already sick of it!! The noise is ok on mine but setting the bugger up without water waste FORGET IT!!!

ok terry...still looking at some skimmers that deltek is a nice one but bit big as i have a lid on my tank and for the money the tunze seem s more like it .....the wifes not happy at all haveing to spend more moneys lol ...ive found the tunze for £180 so far...but still looking ...still got the prizm on just at night ..cant hear it then..but still lookin ..and thx alan and terry
