hello there im consdiering buying a trigon 350 tank and was wondering is this filter enough for a mainre aquarium with live rock in as well |

hi that depends how much live rock you have i have a trigon350 and still use two externals on it and its spotless all the time have around 40 kilos of live rock in there |

Put a phosphate absorber in the trigon filter plus some filter sponge to polish the water don't let this became biologically active though fill it with live rock at least 1 kilo for every 2 gallons and put some circulation pumps in to turn over the total tank volume at least 20 times an hour. The live rock is all the biological filtration you need for a reef. |
