I purchased a Fluval 405 in January and it as stopped working twice now the impeller has broke both times, the little piece of plastic that stops it spinning round has snapped off. I wondered if anyone else as had any problems. |

The fluval curse strikes again perhaps we are coming to the point of the in built faults that appear just a suspicion of mine.

Are you sure it was in properly? (Sorry if that sounds as though you don't know but not meant to)
Did you buy it new or used? |

I suspect it is a similar piece that was flawed in the 404 its the impellor housing the base of it warps because it can't handle the heat of the pump and this jams the impellor.
This is such a basic thing making sure the materials are stable under normal operating temperature but they are not it is an absolute joke that something so basic can be over looked. |
