Can anyone tell me why my clove polyps has suddenly stopped opening, when they have spread rapidly onto all surrounding rocks and been growing like wildfire for ages. All the other soft corals/polyps are really healthy and all the water tests are good. It's a mystery to me. Can anybody shed some light? |

it could be coral warfare but clove polyps are very hardy so its unlikely,they dont need feeding but i would try turning your p.skimmer off for a day. to strong a light will cause them to close up as will a torrent aimed at them also check fish nipping them lemonpeels etc |
