19-03-2006 16:34 by nige	um the best gravel cleaners are usualy the siphon type ones as the bettery ones dont have enough suck, and with the siphon ones you can use them while your doing a water change

19-03-2006 20:18 by jim barry	Depends if your tank is on the floor or not?! if it is a syphon is no good. My sump is on the floor and i can not syphon it so i have to use a battery one which has proven more than adequate.

19-03-2006 22:48 by michael hinson	i purchased a battery gravel cleaner for my frontosa tank,used it twice never worked since,i use a syphon for my 8x2x2 community tank,works like a dream.so in my opinion leave the battery kak alone
