22-03-2006 18:35 by Dr G	My tropheus love them. Actually they are balls of algae (supposedly marimo algae) not moss and so ideal food for tropheus or mbuna. Watch out for blocked filter intakes through, because the algae balls will slowly disintergrate as the fish munch through them. (I sweep up the loose floating bits with a net and use it in my fry tanks). When I'm away for a week or two I feel safer leaving the fish to munch through these than risk someone else overfeeding but add an air stone in case the filter gets blocked.
