if i add normal white ocean rock, the stuff u can get in pet shops will this become live rock after a while |

Bit of alchemy there tommy  ,you have to have some live rock in the tank first, but after some time the ocean rock will be covered in fauna .The ocean rock will not do the same job. |

i dno i have live rock in there atm was thing of getting some plain rock from my local marine shop and was wondering will this become live or atleast look like the live rock after a while |

Yes it will tommy but will take a long time depends on lighting and what you are buffering the tank with. |
