marine rock mites |

I have been setting up a marine tank over the last 6 months with live rock, and snails (to help with algae) In the last 2 weeks I have added 2 green chromis. Tonight I noticed 3 samll crawling creatures, about 2-3mm in length moving over one of the rocks. Looking carefully, I can now see lots of the creatures on the rock. They are a translucent white in appearance, and move quite fast for their size. Can anybody tell me what they are, and if I need to do somthing about them please? |

i've posted twice about this subject. Mine comeout when the lights go out, i have tried to count but there are so many. I got up to about 30 last time. They are not there during the day but night time they come out and are all over my rocks and glass. They have like a striped or chequered shell.
Its still a mystery to me...? |

Thanks Dean, I'll need to look more closely at them to see if they look like ny of the pictures I found on the web.
I am not sure that mine come out like drummerduck's. It is hard enough to see mine with the lights on! |
