how big are they before they get their colour, |

we got ours at about 2 inches and they had good colour, they're about 10 inches now |

they get their colour very small, around the 1.5 to 2" size, the only natural colour (if you can call it that as they are a crossbreed anyway) is an orangey red. Almost all the others like the greens, pinks etc are dyed and lose their colour very quickly as they get bigger. |

Deffo... have loads of people coming into my shop "will have a load of parrot fish babies soon theyre laying eggs, what are the babies worth?" have to laugh... lol |

Mine have had babies, the thread i started ''half a fish'' is one of their offspring. Some of the males are very fertile |

Maybe they will, you never know.
Mine are about 8" though they did breed when much smaller |
