12-04-2006 21:54 by dean	hi luke to keep your hermits and snails happy you need very low nitrates and good calicum levels for snalis to grow there shells and food to graze on simple as that and yours look ok to me you may find one of your hermits has had your snail for dinner and is now wearing hie shell !

18-04-2006 08:34 by Alan	Are you sure the hermit has died it may have just shed its exoskeleton whilst growing or may have simply moved into a new shell in my experience hermits are indestructable unless ro water is not used as they are susceptable as all inverts are to heavy metal poisoning.
