hi i got uncured live rock to cure in my 38x20x20 tank it has been in a week skimmer is producing a cup of gunk per day and the live rock is getiing some white patches on it is this normal hope it is lol

The live rock will take 2 to3 weeks to cureand the white patches are die off which is normal.When you get the rock thats uncured it is best to scrape of any patches as this speeds up the process.You will start to get egg smells which is the rock spiking ,this will happen 2 or 3 times then smell the rock and it should be a fresh salty smell thats it its cured.
