22-04-2006 12:25 by johnbreen	Hi i am having trouble understanding kh/alkalinity in my tank.My ph is testing consistently at 8.3 but kh/alkalinity tests are through the roof top of scale have used tropic marin alko balence but not having much success.It is a fish only system but i hope to get some inverts and corals soon will this be a problem . THANKS

22-04-2006 19:02 by SallyJo	Hi John. I wouldn't add inverts or corals yet. Phone your local marine fish supplier and tell them the Tropic Marin stuff is having no effect. (If you live anywhere near the midlands, I have a good contact.) Do you have live rock? How well-stocked is the tank and how are the fish?
