23-04-2006 15:11 by billysfc	It will help to kill free flowing algae spores, but will do nothing to the algae that is already growing. It can only kill what goes through it, also it will kill all the beneficial organisms that go through it as well. I would try to control the algae through natural means by getting a good stock of hermit crabs and snails. There is a dealer on ebay that sold me 20 crabs and 20 snails for £30 delivered next day.
