well... i broke the golden rule of not buying a fish from a tank with a dead fish in it. I really wanted the jawfish and...in a 'jawfish only tank' at the pet store....(i had the lady feed him first)..i aclimated him for almost two hours (drip into a bucket), and when i dumped him in he was startled by the lion and i'm almost positive he got his underside of his jaw hooked ( for a second) on one of the front spines of the lion. He's still alive....Am i wrong to think he was stung?..would he hve died instantly? |

First offI don't believe fish react in the same way as we do to the sting and ultimately I do not believe the sting is fatal to fish butr it will cause problems as you are seeing.
What is the behavipour of the jawfish like at the mo. |
