I was thinking about the April competition. Can you remind us how you going to select a winner? Was wondering if we could have a few different catergories (all subsequent catergories would not get a prize, just the feel-good factor of winning), we could have sub catergories, like top 5 funniest suggestions, top 5 rubbish suggestions etc, turn into something like the BRIT AWARDS???? And for May, perhaps we could have a ceromoney, and actually do this thing live, like the Oscars??? We could book a pub function room????? Also, how about one catergory or more when the forum users have 2-3 days at end of April to VOTE for best one, funniest one, worst one etc. I am especially interested in compiling top 5's or top 10's so everybody stands a chance for some recognition??? There can still be one overall WINNER who gets the prize, but how about some creatvity??? Also, PAUL STEVENS needs to be barred from the voting on the grounds of INSANITY / DIMINISHED RESPONSIBILITY (see UFO thread Webmaster) - the guy's into metal fish????? Whats that all about eh?????? |

This is a challenging competition to decide a winner from. There are some superb and hilarious entrants.
Dont know if it would be pratical to arrange a 'meet' as we are spread all over the country. I am hoping to get the window stickers printed up with the winning suggestion, cost will be steep, well over £100 and with the £50 prize itself, we wont be able to give out any secondary prizes. We want to give out the window stickers free, for just P&P. Wouldn't it be great to see fellow hobbyists on the road! |
