I think the point that's trying to be made rob is that it's every thread nearly. No one is against having a laugh but at the moment if you don't want to be a part of it than it seems you won't be a part of any of it. And some of it is really not funny, just stupid. And just to say that it not aimed at anyone in particular so i hope i have caused no offence |

as i said i'm not occusing anyone, however, as you can see evry thread starts to get silly and i personnally can't be bothered to read through 3 pages to find the info i would like to know. Non fish threads are fine and we ALL contribute to those but do they all have to end up that way.... |

yeah point taken and it is a good forum to get info on fish.

look at the whole picture paul , lexter started on zebra said some silly things so did i because we all thought it was a joke , then this morning i noticed a thread lexter started about the forum going to pot ,and put my name forward , he was the one who started moaning and as i said earlier i always joke it me ,my personality,you dont think i got my misses from good looks but anyway i can take whatever i thrown at me here because it can just be switched off , i never verbally attack anyone ,thier is always an action , and that causes my re-action , |

I think this forum is fun but does very often go off in a tangent in threads which spoils it. I'm not pointing fingers or blaming anyone for this behaviour, I find some of the threads amusing! But there are too many threads hijacked! Can we not have an area for threads that have nothing to do with fish and take all the general chat there? Just an idea! |

Ok we have the chat room on the side but every time i put something on there it comes up twice and every time i refresh it it closes on me and have to open it again not sure if its my end or not but i have ask webbie but have had no reply so what does one do. Make an unrelated fish thread? |

I found this site a few months ago and avidly read it each day, i find the humour refreshing for the most part however, it does seem to me that the humour becomes stretched, take a look at sarah's not fishy thread. Correct me if im wrong but as you scroll past each picture your laughing then we get to the comments after and the smile disappears, we all know the jokes. When someone said the old ones are the best he was trying to be sarcastic. The humour of yesterday wasn't it was just villification of zebra, all that needed to be said was you agree or disagree with what her hubby is doing. The principle of shares in an idea or object is the main focus of a group called venture capatalist's and pretty standard. If it works you make, if it dont you loose, simple, the idea, the costs are up front. Which would you do take a punt on 25quid in the chance of getting 200quid of fish or pay out 200 quid. Personally I had mixed success with zebra plecs so wouldn't be interested. |
