I woke up this morning to find my fire eel dead.. stiff as a board... my girlfriend had fed my 3 foot tank last night. we have to take out the air pump to still the water to feed the butterfly fish and archer fish but she left it off... i think thats the reason... all the rest are fine but were at the surface...she said shes gonna buy me another one... but it had taken so long for that one to start eating andit was over 12" long. poo |

thanks for your kind words guys... she didnt buy me another one... but got me chocolate... thats nearly as good.
As for what i fed him on... i tried meal worms... live ones... that didnt work.. in the end i fed him with frozen blood worm. Like my Ctenopoma, sengal birchir, elephant nose, plecs and spotted doras i have in there.. they all know when feeding time is... i turn off all the pumps and air stones... then i drop down the meal worms, muscles and blood worm/.. this gives them all a chance to come out and eat. its great and he started eating... so fab. |
